ENTRY RULES

• Exhibit entries are open to adult and youth residents of Sumter, Lee, Clarendon & Kershaw Counties.  Where applicable, entries will be indicated as Youth or Adult.
•  Each exhibitor MUST REGISTER.  Exhibitors must use the same name on each entry throughout all departments.  Give a complete and correct address, including zip code. (This information used to mail premium checks)
• All entries must meet the requirements as listed for each department.  For specific entry details an exhibit drop off times refer to that Department.
• All work exhibited must have been completed or produced by the exhibitor since the 2008 Fair.
• Only one exhibit will be accepted per class per exhibitor.
• Department Superintendents will assist exhibitors in class selection and have the right to refuse entry of unworthy items, items not fitting designated classes or those known to have been previously exhibited.
• If only one article of a class is entered, it shall constitute a class and will be judged against the standard of perfection for that variety.
• All exhibits must be left on display for the full operating dates of the Fair.
• All judging, except livestock will be completed by 3:00 PM on Tuesday.  Only required personnel will be allowed in the departments during judging.
• Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.  No premium will be awarded to unworthy articles, whether there is competition or not.  Judges decisions will be final.
• ALL EXHIBITS AND PREMIUM CHECKS ARE TO BE PICKED UP BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:00 AND 3:30 PM ON SUNDAY, October 4th, 2009.
• Claim checks and passes for Sunday pick-up will be provided when making entries and must be presented when picking up items at the close of the Fair on Sunday.
